Browlift
The Browlift and the Forehead Lift are performed to raise the eyebrows and reduce ridges and furrows on the forehead, thus creating a smoother more youthful appearance. This procedure can be performed in conjunction with other surgeries.
The procedure traditionally involved making an incision across the top of the head from the front of one ear to the front of the other. The forehead skin and brows are then elevated and any excess skin is removed. The skin edges are then sutured. However, newer techniques now allow for the procedure to be done through small incisions in the scalp. Special instruments along with an endoscope are then used to do the lifting. This technique accelerates the healing process.
